Born 1943 in the "Ruhrgebiet" at a time when the area was chemically polluted. His father dies in 1944. More or less forced to leave home at the age of 16, he is luckily reprieved of his national service, being the last bearer of the family name.
Professional training: electrician, locksmith, welder.
He works for Ford in Cologne on the conveyor belt. Resigns and becomes a "street wanderer", sleeping on flattened cardboard boxes in front of department store doorways in Stuttgart whilst dreaming of freedom, love, and peace.
After this "no-fixed-address" lifestyle and his experiences in the Don-Bosco House, he earns his living for a while as a printer and a sales rep for Deurag. He then leaves for Berlin to work at the French Military Base in Tegel as an electrician. A longer employment period follows at Siemens.
At the age of 21, he decides to expand his horizons and ends up hitchhiking to North Africa, visiting Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya.
He works for a long-distance trucking company in transporting goods between Tripoli and Chad. At this time, he becomes interested in philosophy, altruism, a hermit lifestyle, and anarchy.
Further experiences in Chad, Cameroon, and Gabon: as a radio-mechanic, a construction entrepreneur, a bartender, a manager of a perfume production enterprise, a marketing offset printer, a fashion workshop manager, and even a deep-sea diver for underwater concrete structures.
After his "Africa period", he plans to travel to Noumea but finally ends up in Paris in July 1970.
He takes one year off to go to New York, then travels to Sweden and Ireland as well as to the Maldives and Seychelles Islands.
From 1974 onwards, he attends several Parisian theatre schools, studying drama and the stage through regular acting classes. After four and a half years of training, he obtains three diplomas, one of which is the highest award given by the famous René Simon Theatre School.
He starts working as a professional actor in cinema and television. Details of his professional experience and other abilities are available on the Internet Movie Database (http://www.imdb.com).
In his private life, he is interested in alchemy and sacred geometry. In parallel to his work under the lights, in front of cameras, or facing the complex environment of recording studios, he lives the intentionally secluded life of a philosopher.
Once his duty is done, he goes simply back to his private garden.
